Specimen Hill Primary School was originally established in 1874 on its current site in Inglewood Street, Golden Square, within the provincial city of Bendigo. A modern school was constructed on the existing site between 2004 and 2005. Situated on a hill in a quiet and pleasant locality, the school¿s spacious and picturesque grounds provide a unique country atmosphere within a city setting.

Specimen Hill Primary School currently has an enrolment of 214 students. The school maintains a consistent culture of school improvement, with a clear focus on maximising student learning outcomes and building teacher capacity through ongoing professional learning and collaboration.

The school provides a comprehensive and engaging curriculum that caters for the diverse needs of all students.  We are committed to preparing students for their future pathways by fostering curiosity, resilience and a love of learning. Student voice and leadership are highly valued, and students are provided with a range of leadership opportunities.
