Fitzroy Primary School is an inner-city primary school committed to fostering excellence, inclusion, and lifelong learning. Our vision is to empower every student to be a confident, capable, and compassionate learner, guided by our values of respect, empathy and courage

In 2025, the school had an enrolment of 196 students, supported by 20 teaching staff and 11 education support staff. This staffing structure allows for strong relationships, individualised support, and high-quality teaching and learning across all year levels.

Fitzroy Primary School is located in the heart of Fitzroy, providing students with access to rich cultural, artistic, and community resources. The school serves a diverse student population, with a range of social, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds. All students undertake aFrench bilingual program, with 40% of their learning delivered in French, fostering bilingualism, intercultural understanding, and global citizenship.
