Kaniva College is a key educational institution located in a rural and remote area, serving the district¿s students from P-12 levels. As of August 2024, the school caters to 140 students, with a Student Family Occupation and Education index placing it in the Low-Medium band. This index reflects the diverse socio-economic backgrounds of the student population.
Situated in the township of Kaniva, the school is approximately five and a half hours from Melbourne and three and a half hours from Adelaide, easily accessible via the Western Highway. The location offers students a unique rural setting for learning and growth. The school's physical infrastructure includes well-maintained buildings surrounded by beautiful gardens, green spaces, a school farm, community garden, and wetlands.
