Assistant Principal - Austral Public School

Austral Public School is located in a rapidly growing area of Southwest Sydney, which is currently undergoing redevelopment. The school supports a community which is increasingly diverse in socio-economic and cultural backgrounds. There are currently 937 students enrolled in 42 classes. In 2026, the school is expecting a significant growth with an anticipated enrolment in excess of 960 students by the end of the school year.

72.4% of students are from non-English speaking backgrounds, with the largest representation of language groups from the Arabic, Hindu, Nepalese, Samoan and Pakistani communities. The Italian language, heritage and culture are fostered through our Italian community language program and 1.8% of our students are Aboriginal.
