Role description
Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Northern Australia) Ltd. is seeking a passionate and dedicated secondary Science teacher to join the staff at Carlisle Adventist College. This is a full-time position commencing in Term 1, 2026 teaching Junior Science and Senior Biology, along with a leadership loading for Science Coordination.

The key responsibilities of this position include:
Teaching & Learning
- delivering engaging, high-quality lessons in Junior Science and Senior Biology; and
- fostering a safe, supportive, and Christ-centred classroom environment;
Curriculum & Assessment
- planning, implementing, and review of curriculum programs aligned with QCAA requirements;
- developing and assessing meaningful learning experiences that cater for a range of student abilities; and
- to monitor, record, and report on student progress in accordance with school and system policies;
Science Coordination
- leading the development and review of the Science curriculum across year levels;
- to support, mentor, and collaborate with Science staff to ensure consistency of practice; and
