Role description
Are you a passionate and engaging Science educator with a strong interest in Biology?
We are seeking an enthusiastic and capable Science Teacher to join our Middle and Senior School team for a fixed term, Term 3, contract covering long service leave. This role will support students across Years 8–11, with a focus on Year 11 Biology and Middle School Science.
- Fixed term 0.8FTE contract (five days per week): Term 3 (3 August – 26 September 2026) – Long Service Leave coverage
- Teach Year 11 Biology and Middle School Science (Years 8 and 10)

About the Role
The Science Teacher will be a valued member of our Middle and Senior School faculty, responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality Science programs during a period of long service leave replacement.
In this 0.8 FTE (working over 5 days) fixed term role, you will teach:
- Year 11 Biology (SACE Stage 1)
- Middle School Science (Years 8 and 10)
- Year 11 Homeroom
Working collaboratively with colleagues, you will plan, deliver and assess learning experiences that inspire curiosity, deepen scientific understanding and promote critical thinking. This role will suit a flexible and motivated teacher who can step confidently into an established program and maintain continuity of learning for students.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering high quality Science lessons aligned with curriculum requirements.
