Physical Education Teacher (0.43 FTE) Commencing Term 2

St George Preca School is seeking a 0.43 FTE Physical Education Teacher commencing Term 2, (Tuesday & Wednesday). This is a fixed-term contract for suitably experienced teachers. Graduate teachers are welcome to apply. 

St George Preca Parish Primary School in the Parish of St Catherine of Siena, Caroline Springs. The 2026 enrolment is approx. 738 students from Prep to Grade 6.

We are seeking a teacher committed to developing their professional knowledge and skills for the benefit of the students in their care.

Applicants must be able to:

• contribute as a member of a Professional Learning Team, planning and teaching in a collaborative environment focused on continual improvement
• teach effectively to the diverse range of learning needs enriching the learning for all students
• use data to inform teaching
• have the ability to inspire and encourage students with a love of learning
• demonstrate a commitment to and understanding of contemporary learning and teaching
• plan, teach, assess, and report to class teachers on the Physical Education and Sports program for 19 classes using the Victorian Curriculum as the main reference
• Set a budget, monitor and purchase Physical Education equipment/resources
• Coordinate and oversee the School Athletics & Swimming Carnivals
• Assist senior school class teachers with inter-school organisation – Summer and Winter seasons
