About the role
St Mary’s Primary School, serving the regional areas of Lancefield and Romsey and is governed under the authority of Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools Limited (MACS).
St Mary’s Primary School is seeking an experienced and highly organised Administratiion Officer to join our dynamic school community. The successful applicant will work as part of a team in managing the front office of our school. This is a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the school, providing essential administrative support to the Principal and staff while maintaining a welcoming and professional front office environment.
This job is advertised as a fixed-term contract position, however there is the possibility of the role becoming ongoing.
About the Role
The Administration Officer is the first point of contact for students, parents and visitors, playing a crucial role in communication and school operations.
Position Details
- Part time position 4 days
- Hours of work are 8.00 am to 4.06 pm.
- Experience with platforms such as nForma, PassTab, ICON, Newsletter, Synergetic and/or eSIS would be beneficial. but not essential
Core duties will include:
- Upholding Child Safe Standards and ensuring compliance with policies.
- Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity in all aspects of the role.
- Managing reception duties, phone calls, and correspondence.
- Providing administrative support, including student records management and processing purchase orders.
- Assisting with financial tasks such as receipting, banking and credit card transactions..
