Education Assistant - Special Needs

We are seeking to establish a pool of Special Needs Education Assistant for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 1, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

East Narrogin Primary School is located in the progressive regional centre of Narrogin in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia about 200km south-east of Perth. East Narrogin is nestled on Wiilman Boodja within the Wheatbelt community of Narrogin. The name Narrogin is derived from the Noongar word Gnarojin which means place of water.

Our school provides primary education for Kindergarten to Year 6 students drawn from within the town and outlying areas. We provide a safe, inclusive learning environment with a focus on the wellbeing of each child. The Chaplain and the Aboriginal and Islander Education Officers (AIEOs) are an integral part of our school community, working to strengthen links between families, the local community and the school.
