Role description


This is a 6 month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 2, 2026.

Founded in 1980, Cecil Andrews College is situated in the fast developing City of Armadale, in the locality of Seville Grove.

Over the years we have grown catering for a diverse student body. We offer Specialist Arts, Specialist AFL and STEM Programs, as well as delivering TAFE certificate courses and offering traineeships and apprenticeship links for students whilst completing their secondary education. We make it our priority to foster a wide range of pathways to university, TAFE, further training and the workplace.

The Role

The role of the Education Assistant - Lead is to lead, mentor, coach, and model good practices for other Education Assistants. You will be an important and valued leader of the Learning Support team. Suitable applicants will operate collaboratively with superordinates and subordinates and be able to build and maintain effective team-based relationships. We value individuals who are highly professional, organised and display excellent communication skills, in line with the Department of Education’s Code of Conduct, drawing on these attributes when working with staff and the school community.
