Mackay Northern Beaches State High School seeks a focused and dynamic Head of Department - Health and Physical Education to join a committed team dedicated to achieving the best possible outcomes and pathways for all students. This opportunity will suit an educator who
is a collaborative team member, passionate about delivering high quality HPE teaching and learning opportunities and demonstrating strong curriculum capability.
The successful applicant will also lead the development of a range of sporting opportunities that support
student growth and whole school sporting achievement. Building positive relationships with students, staff and stakeholders, while effectively leading the HPE faculty and contributing to the school vision. This is a temporary full-time position commencing 13 July 2026 until 11
December 2026, unless otherwise determined.
