Position: Secondary Teacher
Start date: Term 2, 2026 or as negotiated with the successful applicant
Employment Status: Full-Time or Part-time Continuing
Salary: $86,600 - $147,048  (pending experience - includes Highly Accomplished (HAT) and Lead Teacher (LT) salary scale)

Applications are invited from qualified and enthusiastic educators to join the teaching staff of Marist College, Emerald. This is a full-time or part time continuing position to commence Term 2, 2026, or as negotiated with the successful applicant.

About us

Marist College, Emerald is a catholic co-educational secondary college situated in the Central Highlands, three hours west of Rockhampton. The College draws students from Emerald as well as surrounding rural areas including Gindie, Springsure, the Gemfields, Clermont, Blackwater, Tieri and many rural properties and currently caters for years 7 - 12 with an enrolment of over 700 students.
