Teacher (Faith & Values Focus)
Marist Regional College, Burnie

Marist Regional College is a Catholic secondary school formed through the amalgamation of two schools led by the Sisters of Mercy and the Marist Fathers in 1972. Today, we continue to build on these strong foundations, supporting over 900 students to grow with confidence and purpose, knowing they are known, safe and valued.

We are currently seeking applications for an innovative, passionate and highly motivated Teacher to join our College community. This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who is committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people.

At Marist, we are dedicated to educating the whole person. You will play a key role in supporting students to flourish academically, personally and spiritually, within a supportive and values-driven learning environment.

About the Role
This position focuses on delivering learning within the College’s faith and values-based curriculum, including Religious Education.

  • Commencement: Term 2, Monday 4 May 2026 (negotiable)
  • Teaching load and specific year levels will be discussed with the successful candidate
  • Limited Tenure position, concluding 18 December 2026 - 1.0 FTE – Full Time

  • An understanding of, or openness to, the values and ethos of Catholic education
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
