Role description
The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity in our Catholic Identity and Mission Team, a full-time, permanent position as Catholic Identity and Mission Advisor: Curriculum to begin in Term 3. In this role you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and creative team passionate about Catholic identity and mission, building the capability of religious leaders, and leading high quality teaching and learning in Religious Education (RE).
This will build on CESA’s two RE curricula: Crossways and MITIOG, and serve to enhance the professional engagement and resourcing of religious leaders and teachers. The role is an exciting opportunity to creatively build capacity and confidence of school leaders and staff to deliver curriculum and experiences that integrate faith, life and culture and inspire young people to make meaning of their lives through the lens of the Catholic tradition.
This is a full-time, permanent position, commencing at the beginning of Term 3, 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- You will provide specialised support to APRIMs and Religious Leaders within a region to enhance the religious dimension of schools
- You will shape Religious Education resourcing that builds teacher capacity and grows exceptional professional practice
- You will assist with crafting and facilitating engaging and contextual professional learning in Religious Education (MITIOG, Crossways and the Graduate Certificate)
- You will actively contribute to and lead strategy, programs, policies, and projects in the Catholic Identity Section
