Role description
The Opportunity
We have an exciting new position that will support the Catholic Identity and Mission team! This position has emerged out of the Australian Government funded Consent and Respectful Relationships Education (CRRE) project and will require creativity, collaboration, and a keen eye to work towards resourcing in these important areas. These resources will need to meet external requirements and complement Catholic Education South Australia’s (CESA) Made in the Image of God curriculum. This role will also involve the coordination and facilitation of cutting-edge family and student workshops.
This is a part-time (0.6 FTE), contracted position commencement is negotiable and concluding January 2027.
Key Responsibilities
- You will support the development of survey tools to capture parent, student and staff needs regarding consent and respectful relationships.
- You will assist in the development of age and context-appropriate resources and professional learning for CESA and Catholic Education Northern T teachers and students.
- You will provide support for identified groups in our school communities including but not limited to Indigenous students and students with complex disabilities.
About You
- Deep understanding of sexuality and respectful relationship education and classroom practice.
- Brings a contemporary and grounded understanding of human sexuality, informed by Catholic perspectives and values.
- Demonstrated interest in consent education and respectful relationships and the world of young people.
