Role description

Position Details
Assumption Catholic Primary School is double stream co-educational school from Pre Kindy to Year 6. A sense of pride and joy abounds in our flourishing learning community, where the whole community aspires daily to our school motto "United in Christ".

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant to the Principal to join our school. (Monday to Thursday 8am-3pm & Friday 8am-12pm) This key role supports the Principal, contributes to the smooth operations of the school, and helps strengthen communication across our community. 

The successful applicant will demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic school environment. Applicants will be committed to the mission and values of our school, uphold high standards of service, and take pride in contributing positively to a thriving and busy office.

Selection Criteria
We invite applications from motivated and professional candidates who possess the following attributes:  
•    Demonstrated experience as a senior Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant, or a relevant qualification in Business Administration;
•    Proven capacity to support a senior leader in a fast-paced environment, managing workflow, communication, and priorities with professionalism;
•    Demonstrated experience coordinating meetings and events, including preparation of agendas, supporting documentation, minute-taking, and follow-up of action items;
