We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Officer to join our Stewart Centre for Individual Learning, supporting senior students (Years 10-12) who require specialist assistance to access learning and participate fully in College life.
About the Role
Learning Support Officers at John Paul College work under the direction of the Director of Inclusion and Wellbeing and support students in classrooms, small groups, or one-to-one settings, as directed.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting learning in practical ways such as organisation, scribing, typing support, explaining tasks, assisting with planning and summaries, and preparing teaching aids (in consultation with teaching staff).
- Communicating learning updates through appropriate channels (such as student planners/email) and contributing to supportive, strengths-based student engagement.
