About the Opportunity

Patrician Brothers' College Blacktown is a vibrant and future-focused Catholic secondary school committed to excellence in boys education. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Grounds Maintenance Officer who is qualified in carpentry to join our team on a part-time Temporary basis for the remainder of the 2026 school year.

The successful candidate

  • Experience working in a woodwork workshop, or similar practical environment

  • Strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Experienced in monitoring stock levels and ordering and delivering materials to the workshops

  • Skilled in cutting and sorting timber

  • Holds experience in maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant workshop environment

  • Comfortable and qualified to occasionally drive a Light Rigid Vehicle (school bus)
