Appointment Pool

Ngaanyatjarra Lands School is seeking to establish a pool of team-oriented instructional leaders for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year, up until the end of Term 3, 2026 to fill the role of Principal across our seven remote community schools. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements up until the end of Term 3, 2026.

About the Role

The School is seeking team-oriented instructional leaders to fill the role of Campus Principal across our seven remote community schools. The campus principal position requires suitable applicants to provide classroom support teaching part-time and to oversee a rigorous and stimulating learning program based on the school’s endorsed curriculum, with a particular focus on the promotion of linking the local context and held understandings to the content being taught from the WA Curriculum. To this end, we are seeking campus leaders who will actively support the directions of the school with the central ethos of targeted learning and the development of expertise within two-way teaching teams. Two-way teaching and learning includes the Two-Way Science program and the ability to lead the school and community in this learning area is essential. The focus for secondary education is based on Big Picture Education which incorporates a student-focussed approach and requires an informed and creative leader who actively seeks opportunities for students and collaboration with community agencies.
