The Role
We are seeking a proactive and reliable Senior Gardener – Handyperson to maintain our school grounds to a high standard, ensuring they are safe, tidy, and conducive to a positive outdoor learning environment for students and staff. In this role, you will be responsible for the upkeep of all soft landscaping, including gardens, lawns, turf areas, shrubs, and trees, as well as maintaining hard landscaping such as courts and paved areas. You would mark formal and informal sports fields as required and carry out minor repairs and general maintenance in line with departmental policies.
The successful applicant would ensure all gardening facilities, tools, and machinery are kept clean, well-organised, and in good working order, arranging servicing and reporting faults as needed.
