Your Key Accountabilities:
The core capability requirements for this role are:
- Supervise and coordinate the protocol functions associated with the Queensland Police Service Academy education and training programs.
- Coordinate official functions, ceremonies, parades, official visits and activities in accordance with Queensland Police Service requirements.
- Identify, investigate and research protocol issues and establish procedures to improve the related functions.
- Establish and maintain effective and professional communications including building networks within the Queensland Police Service Academy programs, other Queensland Police Service establishment and external agencies.
- Develop and train a network of Assistant Protocol Officers for the Queensland Police Service and to provide advice and support the police regions and commands as required.
- Train and prepare police recruits in all aspects of drill for participation in induction parades.
