Selection Criteria

KSC 1   Demonstrated experience and skills in managing a specific education function.

KSC 2  Demonstrated capacity to supervise the work of other support staff and to develop procedures and guidelines relating to the work area.

KSC 3  Demonstrated high level oral and written communication skills.

KSC 4  Possesses the technical knowledge and expertise relevant to the position.

KSC 5  Demonstrated capacity to provide advice and support to management in respect to the work area.

Attendance for duty during school holiday periods is not required for this position.

The student Wellbeing Officer is responsible for overseeing all matters pertaining to student welfare on the relevant campus.

This person liaises directly with the Campus Assistant Principal in the first instance and also liaises closely with the Principal Class Officer responsible for Student Engagement and Wellbeing.  The Student Wellbeing Officer also works closely with the School Nurse, Disability Inclusion Coordinator and Sub School Leaders.
