Teaching ServiceWakefield School is a School for Specific Purpose supporting students with complex mental health needs. We provide a safe, structured and inclusive environment where all students are supported to achieve their full potential.
In 2026, the school enrols 35 students, including 23% Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, 50% in Out of Home or kinship care, and 31% with Autism and complex mental health needs.
The Classroom Teacher delivers differentiated teaching and learning programs that support students’ academic, social and emotional development. Teachers work collaboratively with families, carers and support staff to develop and implement individualised learning and wellbeing plans.
