Port Hacking High School is a comprehensive, co-educational secondary school in Miranda, NSW, serving students in Years 7 through 12. The school is led by principal Rick Turansky and operates with a stated commitment to lifelong values including honesty, integrity, empathy, perseverance, tolerance, inclusion, and embracing diversity in all contexts. The school offers a range of specialist programs that cater to diverse student interests and abilities. The Academy Program for Football and Dance provides structured, high-level pathways for students with strengths in those disciplines. In high potential and gifted education, the school runs extension classes and a Year 5 HPGE enrichment program, extending its reach to prospective students before they transition to secondary school. Support for students with additional needs is embedded across the school. Student learning support officers (SLSOs) work directly in classrooms alongside teachers, and dedicated learning and wellbeing support teams provide coordinated assistance.
