Role description

Macarthur is an independent Anglican co-educational Transition (Pre-Kindergarten) to Year 12 school with a strong academic and co-curricular focus catering for students of all ability levels. It is located in picturesque Cobbitty on over 85 magnificent acres, 50 minutes from the CBDs of Sydney and Wollongong. The Headmaster seeks to appoint appropriately qualified and experienced Christian educators who demonstrate a commitment to their Christian faith, as evidenced by regular attendance and involvement at a Church, to these full-time positions. The successful candidates will join the highly professional, dynamic, and industrious Junior School and/or early Middle School teams. A distinct advantage is a willingness to teach across Early Stage 1 (Transition) to Stage 3.

Candidates for these roles will be required to demonstrate:

  • a passion for teaching and deep knowledge of the various syllabus documents, K-6;

  • an innovative approach to teaching and learning;
  • a comprehensive understanding of classroom differentiation;
  • a commitment to detailed and timely feedback to students; and,
