Primary objective

As a senior member of the Nightcliff High School leadership team, provide initiative and educational leadership in administration, planning, development and evaluation of policy, curriculum and pedagogy, wellbeing and educational programs within the school. The Assistant Principal should inspire students, staff, and community members to optimise the learning of all students.

Context statement

Nightcliff High School is a growing comprehensive Years 7-12 school with an enrolment of approximately 430 students. Our aim is to inspire, motivate and challenge students to achieve successful futures. Students transition to Nightcliff High School from a number of surrounding primary schools. The curriculum is guided by the Australian Curriculum for Years 7-10 and the SACE for Years 11-12, with tailored learning experiences and dedicated programs designed to meet students’ diverse learning and wellbeing needs.
