Inclusive Education Coordinator (POR3)

Xavier College is seeking passionate and experienced Inclusive Education Coordinators to join our Two Wells (R-11) campus. This is an exciting leadership opportunityto make a meaningful impact by supporting students with diverse learning needs.

This position is classified as a POR3 for a fixed period of four years.

We are recruiting for two positions:

• Inclusive Education Coordinator – Primary Years 
• Inclusive Education Coordinator – Middle/Senior Years 

This role may include a teaching component and should be considered in conjunction with the Teacher Position Information Document.

As the Inclusive Education Coordinator, you will lead the development and implementation of inclusive education practices that support the academic, social and emotional growth of students with diverse, complex and additional learning needs. You will work collaboratively with Education Support Officer – Curriculum (ESO) staff to strategically coordinate and schedule in-class support, ensuring it aligns with Inclusive Education priorities and timetables.

As the Inclusive Education Coordinator you will:

• Lead the ongoing evaluation and continuous improvement of inclusive education programs and practices.
• Provide strategic leadership of inclusive education, including oversight of NCCD processes, Personalised Plans for Learning (PPLs), reasonable adjustments and compliance obligations.
• Lead and support ESO staff through effective communication, professional learning and strategic allocation of in class support.
