OSHC Co-ordinator

St Gabriel’s is a welcoming and inclusive Catholic school community where relationships, wellbeing and a strong sense of belonging are central to all that we do. Our OSHC service plays an important role in supporting families and providing children with engaging experiences that extend learning beyond the classroom.

The newly created role of ‘OSHC Co-ordinator’ works in partnership with the OSHC Director. The Co-ordinator will support the leadership and day-to-day operations of the service, while fostering a positive team culture where educators feel supported to grow professionally and work collaboratively. The successful applicant will demonstrate a strong understanding of pedagogical practices in school-aged care and be committed to creating meaningful, leisure-based experiences for children guided by the My Time, Our Place Framework.

Our service is open for 50 weeks of the year and is licensed for 50 children per session. Our hours of operation are: Term Time 6.30am-8.30am, and 3.00pm-6.00pm, Vacation Care 6.30am - 6.00pm. This position is for 25 hours per week. 

This role also values the importance of strong partnerships with families and the wider school community. The Coordinator will contribute to building respectful and trusting relationships, that support the wellbeing and development of every child.
