Role description
We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Officer to join our Inclusive Education team in a Reception-Year 12 city school for girls. The successful candidate will be confident supporting secondary students in Mathematics and Science and committed to assisting students with diverse learning needs to engage successfully in their learning.
The Learning Support Officer will supervise and support students with formally identified additional needs in accordance with their Personalised Plans for Learning (PPLs). Working under the guidance of classroom or intervention teachers, the role involves providing flexible support in classrooms and small group settings, while using sound judgement to assist student learning and engagement.
You will work closely with students, teachers and families as part of a collaborative team environment with experienced leadership committed to inclusive practice and student success.
Full-time equivalent salary: $73,425 Year 1
ESO Grade 3 – Curriculum
Multiple positions available (permanent and contract for 2026)
Commencing April 2026
41 weeks per year
26 – 32.5 hours per week negotiable (4-5 days)
