Role description
Playford International College is seeking a passionate and innovative Arts Teacher to join our team for the remainder of Term 1, with the possibility of extension. The successful applicant will deliver engaging learning experiences in Digital and Creative Arts, with the ability to teach Visual Arts considered advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
- Foster creativity, critical thinking, and artistic expression in students.
- Integrate digital technologies into arts learning where appropriate.
- Assess student learning and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute positively to the Arts learning area.
Skills and Experience:
- Relevant teaching qualifications and current teacher registration.
- Experience teaching Digital and/or Creative Arts; Visual Arts experience desirable.
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- Commitment to inclusive education and supporting diverse learners.
