Role description
We are seeking to establish a pool of School Officers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 1, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Australind Senior High School (SHS) is located just north of Bunbury, at the gateway to the beautiful Southwest region. We are proud to be one of the region’s most successful schools, with a strong record of achievement for students in both Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) and Vocational Education and Training (VET) pathways.
At Australind SHS, our purpose is simple; we grow remarkable people. This guides everything we do for our students and our staff. We offer a wide range of opportunities while still maintaining a strong sense of community. We are committed to continually improving teaching and learning through reflective practice and a clear focus on high-quality teaching and learning.
As a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) school, student care and wellbeing sit at the heart of everything we do. Our strong wellbeing framework ensures every student is supported socially, emotionally, physically and academically.
Our school community is diverse and connected across the Harvey Shire, with around half of our students commuting by bus each day from Harvey, Brunswick Junction, Binningup and surrounding areas. We are supported by a dedicated School Board that values our traditions, and embracing our school motto: “Through Endeavour, Success.”
