Location Profile

This role is based at Malvern Primary School located in the southeastern suburb of Malvern. Malvern Primary School has played an important role in the life of our local community since 1884.

Our mission is to provide an education that enables all students to achieve full potential in a safe and caring environment.  We are implementing the School Wide Positive Behaviour Support protocols and Positive Classroom Management Strategies

We work hard to equip our students with the skills they will need for a successful transition to secondary school and to become competent global citizens.

Learning and teaching is our core business with a strong emphasis on literacy and numeracy skills. This rigorous program is supported by a diverse specialist teaching program that includes Library, Mandarin, Performing Arts, Physical Education, Sport and Visual Arts. We also provide support and extension programs for students at all grade levels.

Selection Criteria

SC1    Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum, including the ability to incorporate the teaching of literacy and numeracy skills. Demonstrated experience in responding to student learning needs.

SC2    Demonstrated experience in planning for and implementing high impact teaching strategies, guided by how students learn, and evaluating the impact of learning and teaching programs on student learning growth.
