Alvie Primary School is a co-educational primary school situated in the Colac Otway Shire, north-west of Colac. The area is located in a region renowned for its dairy, potato, and onion farming. Alvie Primary School, originally named Alvie Consolidated School, was opened in 1957.  Our school site spans 14 acres of manicured grounds, offering a wonderful canvas for children to learn. It consists of two playgrounds, two tennis courts, a football/cricket field, a soccer field, a basketball court, a 1km walking / running / riding track, extensive rose gardens, vegetable gardens, orchards, a 5-acre developmental bush play area, relaxing courtyards, Frisbee golf and shaded grass areas. We have a large multipurpose room, a commercial kitchen, and a dedicated space for music, multimedia, and French language.
