Role description


This is a 9 month fixed term, part-time (0.92 FTE) position commencing Term 2, 2026

Broome North Primary School (PS) is an Independent Public School that caters for children from Kindergarten to Year 6. The school, opened in 2015, is a modern facility located on Yawuru land in the coastal town of Broome, part of Western Australia's stunning Kimberley region.

The Role

As a Special Needs Education Assistant, you will support students in developing confidence and a sense of well-being across diverse educational settings. Using your excellent interpersonal and communication skills, you will collaborate with teachers and colleagues to help create inclusive education programs that accommodate the individual needs of students. You will be expected to use initiative to support the delivery of planned programs, applying your understanding of differentiation and intervention strategies to assist students in accessing the curriculum.
